Pretty much everyone has a coffee table in their house and pretty much everyone loves Pong, so a group of Uruguayan engineers have taken advantage of that overlap. They’ve brought Pong into the physical world, removing it from its previous pixelated build and building a physical, playable version into a coffee table. Like the original Atari game, the Pong paddles are moved by two large wheels on either side of the table, while the ball’s movement is enabled by magnets under the surface, and an LED panel at the top of the board keeps score. When the game is over and it’s time for more traditional entertainment, two covers flip over the wheels and the LED panel turns into a clock. The table can also stream music using Bluetooth and power up to four USB chargers. It comes in four color schemes, though we’re partial to the classic, with the old Pong logo and grayscale lined design.

As much as we love the images that come out of our DSLRs, or the convenience of our phone cameras, there’s still something to be said for the instant print gratification that we remember from the days of Polaroid. Recalling the whole point, shoot, print experience isn’t going to be that difficult anymore because, like all things retro, Polaroid is back with a new instant camera that they’re calling Snap. Designed to merge the nostalgic Polaroid experience with modern technology, Snap saves images shot with the 10MP camera onto a Micro SD card (up to 32 GB) then prints them onto 2×3″ prints using ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology. You get to keep or share the physical prints, but also upload any pictures for sharing without having to find a scanner. Snap will be available later this year in black, white, red and blue.

LaurenceAirline is a menswear label and conscious project based between Abidjan and Paris. LaurenceAirline brings together a path between cultures drawing contemporary timeless basic silhouettes with deep African roots. Re-imagining the African continent’s cultural inheritance in a way that fashion and ethnic cultures can successfully collaborate to create possibilities for the future is the driving force behind LaurenceAirline. The entire line is made in accordance with conscious and sustainable manufacturing practices in LaurenceAirlin’es workshop in Ivory Coast, where local people are trained to produce high quality garments following international standard. Valuing bold aesthetics and sustainable development, the label merges creativity coming from Africa with the sophisticated standards of modern societal way of life. In that frame, worldwide sold LaurenceAirline’s collections help build Africa’s modern reality into the international fashion scene.
LaurenceAirline’s Spring/Summer 2014 menswear collection is inspired by the sunny pastels of Miami’s glamorous Art Deco District, mixed with Op Art and 60’s fashion references.
The slim silhouettes of her designs and particularly her printed cotton shirts characterized by an Optical Art African pattern, have a retro touch to them and is reminiscent of Florida 60s mellow lifestyle.
The main inspirations come from the illuminated palette and geometric decors of Miami’s Art Deco buildings: warm shades of aqua and peach, coral and lime, blue and mint, prevail throughout the collection, balanced with acid tones of green, orange and lemon reminding of Memphis Milano’s works and David Hockney ‘s paintings.
LaurenceAirline’s signature of vibrant and alluring constrasting fabrics on shirts are emphasized by solid fabrics spiced up by Op Art green squares pattern graphic lines.
Although a daring high waist cropped shirt invites itself in the broad proposition of shirts, the cuts remain classic and structured on slim silhouettes. LaurenceAirline’s playful mix of solid colors and bold prints enlights this predominant shirt presence.
Highlighted by visually rich and strong graphic prints and patterns, origami and triangles shaped yokes subtly reference 1920 geometrical lines. Rigorous shaped yokes and patchwork panel breastplates and breast pockets form interesting textures giving movement to surfaces. ((Theses details such as origami pleats and geometric appliqués reference the Miami Modernist buildings in mustard polka dots, white and green Op art pattern and yellow. ca se repete là! cette phrase est-elle necessaire?)) These highly constructed details provide an added layer of controlled eccentricity to the collection.
Daring and bold, combining different shades of plain and printed cottons, this season reveals an eclectic mixture of shapes and colors : cropped shirts, long sleeves and short sleeves as well as Cuban collar shirts.
Pants and pleats shorts display sharp lines whilst exuding a certain sense of pleasant candor.
Balancing tradition and modernity, this collection includes numerous pieces that may appeal to all the LaurenceAiline’s male fans who favor her thoughtful elaborated colorful styles : from young men looking for simple yet edgy designs to sophisticated gentlemen in search of modern elegance.
Wouldliketomeet.me is a refreshing new dating website where everyone is 100% verified. Each potential member is verified by either a short webcam chat with the site’s welcoming team or submits a unique verification clip recording through wouldliketomeet.me to ensure that they are who they say they are and that they are not using photos which are ten years out of date.
Poking around their site we were surprised that we began to feel that looking for love online was now cool and may become just something we do ………….[from the site]
Over the years we’ve both experienced the wonderful world of online dating, with tales ranging from the sublime to the bizarre! There are thousands of online dating sites; from the established globally known brands, through to some really basic ones with just a handful of members; but they all have one thing in common – little to no verification. You can set up a profile page and load pretty much any picture you like, claiming it’s you. If you believed some of the ones we’ve seen on other sites then Sienna Miller, Cindy Crawford, Jude Law, Homer Simpson, and a squirrel are all single and looking for love. We’re all busy people and the last thing you need when searching for that special someone is to waste precious time interacting with a fake profile.
Drawing from our experiences, we’ve built a refreshing new dating website that is 100% verified, so that you know the person in the profile picture is the person you’re talking to and hopefully meeting soon. Each potential member has the choice of either a brief web cam call with our welcome team or recording a unique verification clip through their cam to ensure that they are the person in the picture, and that they’re not using decade old photos. Once approved we also monitor all photos uploaded to ensure no rogue pictures are sneaked in over time.
Our goal for Would Like to Meet is to provide an honest, approved and trustworthy site. Ever heard the saying ‘Trust, but verify”? Well, we figure if someone is hiding behind a fake profile picture then what else might they be hiding?
We’ve also put serious thought and effort into the design of the site. You can find more information on some of these unique features further down the page.
We sincerely hope you get as much enjoyment from using Would Like to Meet as we have creating it.

Adidas posted this to their Face Book page and since then tongues have been wagging. Some love them and some say it revokes memories of slavery which I’m sure Adidas will want to distance them selves from at once. Due in stores in August…will they make it?
